March 13th, 2009 The Druid and Atlantic Theater co-production of Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan will complete its three month run in New York on Saturday, March 14....but it will live on. The twice-extended Off-Broadway production was documented for the Lincoln Center Theatre on Film and Tape archive (a rare honour for an Off-Broadway work). The final two performances on March 14th are completely sold out. The Cripple of Inishmaan is the best-selling production with the highest attendance ever for an Atlantic Theater Company production. Druid would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who came to see this production during its six month run in Ireland, the UK and New York, and to all the actors, designers, funders and venues who made this production possible. |
