The walls of The Mick Lally Theatre could tell a thousand stories – there’s the Druid ghost, which caused Sean McGinley to flee one night in the 80s. Or there are the stories and memories of the world-class performances that have taken place since Druid first opened its doors as a theatre in 1979, notably Siobhán McKenna as Mommo in Bailegangaire and Mick Lally, Marie Mullen and Sean McGinley in The Playboy of the Western World.
Now you can be a part of these stories … Would you like to put on a show? Launch a book or an album? Have a party? Anything is possible. We invite you to come and visit our home and see the potential for yourself.
Druid supports the development and the promotion of the arts in Galway and the Mick Lally Theatre plays an active role in this.
