Scope and Content of the Druid Archive at NUI Galway
The archive contains records relating to and also pre-dating the formation of Druid in 1975. The archive contains detailed records of productions by Druid since the mid 1970’s. The collection features playbills, posters, flyers, invitations, photographs of productions and rehearsals, scripts and administrative material. The archive also features a comprehensive newspaper archive which includes original cuttings of reviews of Druid productions, interviews with cast members and crew and members of Druid.
Conditions of Access to the Archive at NUI Galway
The archive is available to bone fide researchers of interest in Druid. The material is available for consultation in the reading room of the Archives and Special Collections, James Hardiman Library, NUI Galway. Material must be pre-booked prior to consultation.
