Traveller 1981 - Galway

“There is a dark and intimate connection between murder and politics” Joe Comerford is one of Ireland’s exciting young film makers, and this, his latest film, recieved its world premiere earlier this month at the International Film Festival in Cork. The film concerns itself with the relationship between two young travellers developing against a backround of some of the darker elements of Irish society today. TRAVELLER was shot on location in Galway and West Clare, and many locals are included in the cast .
