Druid invites young people to join professional actors on stage in Galway for The Silver Tassie by Sean O’Casey.
One of Sean O’Casey’s great plays, for this production Druid is putting together a cast of 19 – one of their biggest ever company of actors.
DATE AND TIME FOR AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held in Galway on Saturday June 19 in Druid Lane Theatre from 10.30am. An exact time slot will be allocated to you when you register in advance.
CRITERIA
Participants must meet the following criteria in order to attend for audition:
- Be aged 16 or 17 by July 26th
- Be able to sing and act
- Be from Galway or the surrounding counties
- Be available for rehearsals on select dates between Monday July 26 and August 20, and for performances between August 21 and September 7.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION
Advance registration for auditions is essential. Please contact Druid before 3pm on Friday June 18 to register your interest in attending on the day. Please note that places are limited.
