Free Public Reading by MacKenzieRo in Druid Lane Theatre - Sat April 2nd at 4pm

In addition to their performance of bedbound by Enda Walsh in Druid Lane Theatre (Mar 30 – Apr 2 – more info here), MacKenzieRo will also present a public reading of a work in development, The Rake’s Progress: Do You Know Where Tom Rakewell Is?


When and Where

Where: Druid Lane Theatre, Galway
Date: Saturday April 2nd
Time: 4pm

Admission is free and is open to members of the general public. Please arrive at Druid Lane Theatre 15 minutes before the reading to secure a seat.

Inspired by William Hogarth’s 18th Century paintings & Igor Stravinsky’s 20th Century opera of the same name, this piece is conceived and compiled by Cathy Murphy and Autumn Smith of MacKenzieRo and has been in development for the past two years. The following actors will take part in the reading:

MUSICIAN
The readers will be joined by musician Saskia Tomkins (original music and arrangements) who will be playing the violin, fiddle and nickel harper during the reading.
