Druid would like to mark the passing of Gerry Taheny late of Sligo and Sydney, Australia. Artistic Director Garry Hynes said “Ger made a very significant contribution to Druid in the early years helping the company find its feet. He was the best of men, decent, generous and witty. We loved him very much and he was a close friend to all of us. Marie Mullen, Maeliosa Stafford and Sean Mc Ginley join me in extending our deepest sympathy to his wife Maggie, son Derry and his wider family in Sligo and elsewhere.”
