Druid invites you for a very special DruidMurphy open house to celebrate Culture Night in Galway. DruidMurphy – Plays by Tom Murphy is currently on tour but you can visit the theatre where it was all created.

On the Night

On the night you will have an opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at some of the costumes from Druid shows and see the auditorium and the rehearsal room where the plays are rehearsed. All events on Culture Night are free of charge.

Tom Murphy Documentary Screening

There will also be a special screening of a documentary on the life and work of playwright, Tom Murphy. SING ON FOREVER is a personal and poetic profile of the playwright and is directed by Alan Gilsenan and produced by Parzival Productions. The documentary will be screened in the theatre auditorium at 6.30pm and at 7.30pm. Duration is 55 mins.

6 – 9pm – Open house in the theatre and rehearsal space.
