CALL FOR APPLICANTS

Druid will host a free workshop for actors from 3:30pm – 5pm on Culture Night, Friday 18th September in the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane. The subject of the workshop will be approaches to, and performance techniques for Shakespeare monologues. It will be led by Druid Ensemble member, Marty Rea. If you are interested please email info[at]druid.ie with CULTURE NIGHT WORKSHOP in the subject line and the following details:

1. Confirmation that you are over 18 years of age
2. Confirmation that you are available from 3:30pm – 5pm on 18th September 2015
3. A paragraph (no more than 200 words) on your theatre experience and how you would benefit from this workshop

Marty Rea has won numerous awards, notably an Irish Times Irish Theatre award for his role as Hamlet. He has also been widely critically acclaimed for his performance as Richard II in DruidShakespeare 2015.

Applications accepted until 5pm Wednesday 16th September

Successful applicants will be notified on Thursday 17th September
