Culture Night 2010 Logo

To celebrate Culture Night in Galway, Druid Lane Theatre will throw open its doors from 6pm – 9pm and all are welcome. There’s a jam-packed programme of events taking place and full details are available HERE.

At Druid Lane Theatre we will present a screening of Riders to the Sea by J.M Synge from the acclaimed DruidSynge which was staged in 2005. Costumes and props will also be on view in the foyer. Please note that this is a free event and no prior booking is required.

Riders to the Sea tells the story of the constant struggle of the Aran islanders against the sea and stars Marie Mullen and Aaron Monaghan. It runs at 30 minutes and will be screened every 45 minutes from 6.15pm with the final screening starting at 8.30pm.
